The Village is the online portal to our community here. I’ve long had the idea of creating this kind of space, and recently life presented the perfect opportunity.
Every Village has its first Campfire.
Ours began with a song called Colorado.
It was written about a moment of redemption and became the beginning of something much bigger.
Along the way, I met a young singer named Sara.
After recording the song together, she shared that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
In that moment, the song became something more.
It became the beginning of Play It Forward.
That's how our village began.
One song. One story. Many lives touched.
